Yamaha 9.9 FMH Long Shaft Two Stroke Outboard Motor, Tiller Control

I have owned this outboard engine from nearly new, (bought unused from a Marine Engineering Company).

It has since been stored unused in my garage for 10 plus years, which is maintained at a warm temperature as it’s attached to the side of my house.

It is stored vertical on a bracket under a cover. It was always transported on a purpose made frame, hence it has not been lying on its side as many a small outboard.

I maintained the engine periodically when I was using it to ensure it was reliable. (I am a highly qualified professional engineer, hence maintaining and servicing an outboard is well within my competency).

The engine has not been serviced for 10 plus years but I have checked it over to ensure everything is as it should be.

• The gearbox oil is to the correct level and clean.
• I have pumped fresh grease into the grease nipples.
• I have removed and checked the spark plugs.
• There is water running from the tell tail hole when the engine is running, demonstrating the water pump is operating correctly.
• All mechanisms work correctly.

It is in excellent condition. The propeller does not have any dents or chips in it. The engine starts and runs perfectly.

Probably only run for 15 to 20 hours at most.
