Commissioned 2012, Only 86 Hrs Run and In ‘As-New’ Condition!
This Shakespeare 7.5m rib was built in 2008, however the boat was only launched in 2012. At that time it was fitted with a Brand New Mercury 250HP Optimax outboard and the whole package was commissioned and launched. Since then the boat has been very sparingly used (with only 86 hours on the clock), it has never been antifouled, and it has been very carefully looked after and maintained by her previous owner.
Shakespeare International Marine Ltd was a respected British builder known for building high quality sportsboats and ribs with deep-v hulls, aggressive handling and great coastal ability. This 7.5m RIB is solidly built, sports an agressive deep-v hull and is an extremely impressive boat. The hull is rated to carry an impressive 12 people plus gear and she’s category C rated.
With the 250HP Optimax Direct Injection motor, the performance is effortless, with lots of power for pulling skiers and water toys, or just blasting across the bay at speeds in excess of 50mph! It hops on plane quickly, handles like it’s on rails and with hydraulic steering and super smooth controls it can be driven enthusiastically with only the lightest effort at the helm.
It feels super smooth and refined on the water and I’m sure she handles rough water with aplomb, and that’s exactly what you want from a sporty family rib.
