A timeless Classic. Frolic 21 with brand new 2kW reversible, brushless, electric motor. Uses removable lead acid 48V battery packs, each giving at least 2.5 hours of cruising. A lithium battery pack would double that. It is really useful being able to charge the batteries out of the boat. Configured in the style of early 1900's electric launches, which put wicker chairs in the fore seating area. This makes the boat very versatile. Comfortably seats eight (wicker chair and cushions are not included; available at Ikea). Traditional tiller steering.
I have used the same electric motor in commercial tour boats (including another Frolic 21) for three years without any issues at all.
Hull is in excellent condition; upper teak decking is original and has a few small blemishes commensurate with its age, but no rot. Built by Steam and Electric Launch Co. Comes with a twin axle trailer, almost unused.
