About this houseboat
Narrowboat for Sale, Inspiration, is a mostly original, 38ft Liverpool boat. The interior has changed very little over the years although there have been some equipment changes in terms of maintenance; for example the engine. The engine and gearbox were both replaced in September 2013 for a Beta Marine 30Hp engine and a PRM 120 gearbox. They have now only completed approximately 1,200 hours running.
The interior has a modest oak panelled finish and reverse layout with a fixed double bed, off-set bathroom and galley adjoining the living area. Well designed this 38ft boat could stretch from 2 berth to possibly a cosy 4 berth.
Equipment is basic with hot water provided by the engine via a calorifier, a Morso solid squirrel stove, a 12v fridge and 12v lighting throughout.
Inspiration is a lovely little boat, ideal for those new to boating and looking for something they can put their mark on!
