For sale is a brand new hull moulding that is ready for home completion. These simulated clinker based hulls are based upon the popular 12 ft Smack Boat. They can be fitted out to your own specification. All important details such as mast position, centreboard size and position can be given. Also templates for the major components. The hull can be fitted out quite quickly using basic tools. The completed version shown in the photos took approximately 140 hours to complete. The dinghy sails beautifully with a simple lug sail. The photos show one of the hulls that has been fitted out with hardwood gunwales and teak strips on the bow and stern thwarts. These dinghys sail and row well and are also capable of taking a 4 hp outboard with ease. Very stable with a large carrying capacity. The standard hull colour is light grey.
