1985 Westerly Fulmar 32 fin keel, designed by the renowned Ed Dubois, currently afloat and in commission at Hythe Sailing Club, Hampshire.
A well-equipped and actively maintained example of this highly regarded design, offering a proven combination of sailing performance, easy handling and cruising capability.
I have enjoyed sailing her throughout the season and am selling simply because I wish to move to a larger vessel.

Deck & Hull
Coachroof recently refurbished with KiwiGrip non-slip. Unused KiwiGrip remains onboard to complete the other deck areas.
Gelshield treatment completed in 2018. Hull is dry with no known osmosis.
A previously localised damp area around the rudder has been repaired. Moisture readings remain elevated in this area and this is disclosed for further investigation during survey.
Remaining Jobs
As expected with a 40-year-old yacht, there are some outstanding items, reflected in the asking price:
- Steaming light requires investigation
- Anchor light requires investigation
- Stern-light lens is crazed/aged
- Raymarine depth transducer requires fitting
- Remaining deck areas require KiwiGrip
- Some headlining is beginning to sag
- Teak-and-holly cabin sole is worn
- Some age-related UV crazing to hatches/windows
- Rudder area requires further investigation as noted above
